The 100 Serve Tennis Challenge
Call (213) 278-2815  e-mail: recongroup@gmail.com
May 3, 2008 - Dylan completed the big tennis challenge today. His final outcome was
87 fair serves out of 100 attempts, which surpassed his goal of 50 in a big way.
Thanks so much to everyone who helped in the cause.

The money raised will go a long way in helping Jackie Chan build schools in the
poorest communities in China and we encourage everyone to continue supporting
this great cause.

7 year old Los Angeles resident, Dylan Stoutenburg, is perhaps one of Jackie Chan's biggest fans.
While visiting the home page of his on-screen hero, he learned there was more to Jackie than just
the high-energy action scenes we've seen in his movies. Jackie supports a number of charitable
causes and one that caught Dylan's eye was his
Dragon's Heart Foundation and it's Build a
School for a Dollar
program (click the logo below for detailed information).

After reading on Jackie's site that some children have little access to a good education, Dylan
wondered why not. After learning the ultimate outcome of such a circumstance (
poor education
leads to poor income leads to poor health, etc.
) Dylan decided to do what he can to help.

Being an avid tennis fan and having participated in bowl-a-thon fund-raising activities with the
YMCA,
he decided to combine the two and challenge himself and others to raise money for the
Dragon's Heart Foundation.

The Challenge

On Saturday, May 3rd, 2008, Dylan will be challenging himself by making 100 serves at a local
tennis court and is recruiting sponsors to pay for each FAIR serve he makes. His personal goal is
to get at least 50 of the serves in fair territory and his goal for the fundraiser is to raise over $1,000
for the Build a School program.

Resource Conservation Group, LLC has agreed to kick off the drive with a $100 donation to get
things started and challenges other local businesses and individuals to join in by pledging a flat
dollar amount or an amount per FAIR serve made during the challenge.

Jackie Chan has agreed to match every dollar earned with a donation himself so every dollar
raised is worth $2.

Donations of any size can be made directly to the charity's bank account. Please click here and
choose
"Dragon's Heart Foundation (Dylan's Challenge)" from the drop down menu.

Thanks!!!
Hi, Douglas and Dylan,

I saw the story of Dylan's challenge on Jackie Chan's
Kids Corner and also saw that some other members of
the Kids Corner Forum have contributed to your
project. My son (16) also plays tennis and loves it, so
that was another reason to support your idea.

Dylan sets a great example to kids all over the world.
And these kids with their creativity and ideas are a
wonderful inspiration to us adults. So I must say "thank
you" to you for allowing me to be a small part of it all.

Best of luck to you all,
Sabine Krüger

Thanks Sabine! Dylan's challenge would go nowhere
without support from people like you!!!
