Reclaimed Wood Flooring is our mainstay. Nobody in the industry has more experience in this product nor a more efficient milling system. Start to finish we
control the quality and costs. You WILL NOT find a better product nor a more reliable supply source anywhere - period!

Along with all the partners in our group, we take down buildings all over the country from Old Whiskey Storage facilities to New York Apartment Buildings to
Dairy Farms in Washington and Bridges in Texas... you name it and we've probably done it.

The majority of the
Reclaimed Flooring you buy from us comes from structures that were erected from the 1850's through about the 1940's. At the beginning of
WWII, there was a major change in the lumber industry... in order to meet the demands of the war, 2 x 4's were turned into 1-3/4" x 3-1/2" and younger, weaker
trees were used. That practice never changed back after the war and this is what you buy from a typical lumber yard today.

Many of the buildings we get our material from have been standing vacant for years or have outlived their usefulness. Buildings from this pre-WWII era were
built with
OLD GROWTH TIMBER, which means the trees used for the lumber may have been 300-500 years old. These trees cannot be cut down today but, at
that time, there seemed to be an abundant supply.

The warmth of reclaimed wood, whether in the form of flooring, exposed beams or what have you enhances the beauty, value and character of any home.
Reclaimed Heartpine - Whiskey Keg house deconstruction
100 year old Old Whiskey Storage Facility (nearly the size
of a football field) being dismantled...saving about
500,000 BF of material from the landfill!

We carefully dismantle each structure by hand, saving
nearly 100% of the material. Even the bricks and tin
roofing sheets are salvaged. With many of the buildings
having been put together with bolts rather than nails,
there is very little damage to the material during the
dismantling phase. The larger beams are usually sold
as-is and the other material is milled into flooring or used
to create furniture of the highest quality.
